So I made a Breaking Bad inspired case in dedication of the great show it was. This is for my upcoming Phantom PCB from MK.

The side view with and without flash:

I used the green and white from the opening sequence theme, the blue for the crystal meth and yellow and black for the feet, for the danger that was Walter White.

I'll be making a dust cover using this acrylic plate:

I wanted to use the hat-glasses-beard image initially, however after the series finale, the skull and cross-bones version looked more apt.

EDIT: The bolts and nut are temporary, I'll be using flat head screws and brass stand-offs once the brass stand-offs come from China.

UPDATE

I finally got time to complete building the case, so here it is, still waiting on Toxic GB and a few other caps to reach me (Shot-key and toxic green gasmask) to complete it, till then just mixing things up with Tai Hao OEM DS green and Dolch Cherry mods.

I'm loving the layout and the pseudo-numpad.
PCB: White Phantom PCB from MechanicalKeyboards
Switches: Ghetto-greens, 80g springs from Originative in blue switches
Stabs: I was able to mod cherry plate stabs and glue them in, by cutting the top tabs on the stabs that lock the stab into the plate.
Layout: ANSI125 92-key
Firmware: Metalliqaz's keymapper generated custom
Material: All layers are cast acrylic, green-translucent blue-milky white-translucent yellow-smoke
Keycaps: Temporary Tai Hao green and Dolch Mods (Will put Toxic). Breaking Bad and crystal meth caps from TechKeys.

I swear this is the last acrylic update for tonight

I plan on using the breaking bad keycaps from SP for the 5 extra keys as compared to a traditional TKL. 3 meth caps and the two "Br" "Ba" on either side of the up arrow.

I think the Tai Hao Green set and the toxic set when it gets made would go best on this board.

You could make one on your own pretty cheap if you wanted to. I have a place that does laser cutting nearby where you can get an hourly pass for $30 or monthly membership for $95-140. You could crank out several of these cases in an hour and the materials cost isn't obscene, so if you decided to sell some, you could probably offset the machine time cost pretty easily.

I should ask, how thick is the acrylic for this? I've been looking at making a case like this out of wood since I have a place I can do laser cutting/engraving at an hourly rate. I'd need to make up the files, but it should be interesting.

3mm per layer.

The case took almost two hours to cut, since I was there while it was happening. About 8 feet of acrylic used due to wastage because of the multitude of colors. So I don't kniw how much cheaper I could have got it cut.

The acrylic Poker case I have works with a steel plate. You put it over the acrylic one provided.

It's cheap as far as anyone is concerned when it comes to custom cases with custom color options. The last acrylic case I remember seeing was a minimum of $82.

I just want to play around with your design and see if I can make one with wood. I've been planning on making my own similar to this for a while with wood, but it would be easier to use someone else's design instead of mocking up my own for a prototype.

And with your prices, I'm sure people would flock to it if you ran a GB...after you finished the others of course.

Hahaha. Yes, I know. But with the recent happenings, I am more interested in finishing the designs than having hundreds of guinea pigs.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards that myself, but I just feel it is lacking a little bit of toxic. I was thinking of adding toxic arrows, but that would be too much going on in that area.
