Coworkers who wait until the day before a due date and request things that typically require a few days to finish.

Also bosses who won't ask for things directly but text coworkers who aren't even here who then text me the request.

We submitted a media request to our department that handles that stuff (simple flyer on photoshop that I could knock out in no time at all if I was allowed to do them) and they took nearly 2 months to complete it. They sent an email out and said they needed info within 2 hours or it wouldn't go out for another week. Love when people don't respect deadlines.

if they are using photoshop to make flyers professionally they should be taken out back and kicked repeatedly.

Couldn't find parking at the thrift store. If this seems low on the "what's bothering you"  pole that's because it is. Pretty good morning overall

I don't think I've ever seen a packed thrift store.

I think it has to do with its size overall. That plus every item has a different colored tag and everyday they switch what color gets 25%,50%, and 75% off. I've left there with a good amount of flannels and cardigans for under $20.

Can you file anything with PayPal to get the situation rectified? That is bull**** to have that happen.

yeah i had to cancel the order and repurchase on my CC only. Called my bank and let them know. I had no idea you could over draw your checking that much.

Now im pissed because i set up my checking to never allow an over draft so that should have never processed. Lord help them if i get a fee

Well at least you can turn this back on the bank if they give you a fee because of the way you set your account up.

That is a big issue though that the charge actually went through when it shouldn't have.

Pretty sure I won't have my SE of Xenoblade Chronicles X on Friday since store pickup was never an option with Best Buy. And someone posted an unboxing...the game case is different from the retail copy as the inside cover flips out...f***! Hope I can find a SE on launch day. Otherwise no Xenoblade this weekend :(

I don't think I've ever seen a packed thrift store.

My Goodwill has a good amount of traffic. It's also a great one for finding stuff. And when "flash" sales happen to clean inventory up (i.e. 75% off the store), it gets busy.

I'm missing most pms from today too, this'll make the 5 trade discussions hard.  :))

Atleast I have the geekhack emails for reference.

Back in 2012 rollbacks became a regular occurence. You just learn to deal with them. And make sure notifications are sent to your email.

Ugh. Paul McCartney post-Beatles is awful.

Also, that inane "Do They Know It's Christmastime" song. Not everyone in the world needs or wants to celebrate Christmas.

Someone did some maintenance last night at work. Should have been routine stuff. Around 1:30am, they decided it wasn't going well so they sent an email. AN EMAIL. I am not checking work email at 1:30 in the morning! Then at 6:30am then call me to say it has been down for hours. Only I was asleep and didn't answer the phone right away. Somehow things got so messed up I had to restore everything from backup...that is like, worst case scenario **** right there. Now everything is all messed up and it is going to take me the better part of the morning to make it right. I was supposed to go into work late today. This is the second time in a row I've been paged on what should have been a morning off.

Hoff, nice sig, big guy.  ;)

Edit: demik, stop getting in trouble!
