Bolillos are amazing, but tortillas definitely don't suck. They both have their place. I will say this, if you don't have a real, homemade tortilla then get out. Those generic white people tortillas suck.

You can't roll up bolillos and put avocado and salt in them to eat as a snack.
You can't roll up bolillos and put them in soups, like menudo, and then eat them wait while you wait for the soup to cool.
Bolillos are good, but not better than tortillas.

I just performed a search on www.google.com so I feel that I know quite a bit about these "bolillos" that you speak of.  I fail to see how they are a substitute for tortillas.  They look scrumptious, but it doesn't look like you can really use them in any way similar to a tortilla...
