I ordered my dad something from Amazon, only I forgot to remove my employers American Express as a payment option and accidentally billed them for the order. Now I have to return the item, have my employer refunded, and re order the item with my card. Hopefully my employer has the refund before they notice lol, it will be pretty embarrassing explaining what happened.

Machinists that can't do their ****ing job and are only still hired because of personal connections.

Said machinist constantly drills M6 pilot holes with the 1/4-20 pilot and then taps them. Thus leaving roughly 15% thread depth after tapping. When I brought it up to him and asked him to correct the issue he begins to tell me that they require the same pilot diameter. Which is very wrong. For steel you use a .218in bit for 1/4-20 and you use a .197in for M6. When I pointed this out his response was "that difference doesn't matter" followed up by "I've been doing this for 17 years and you're just a student". After more arguing I simply said "Look, I don't care how long you've been doing this. It's wrong and every M6 hole from here on out will be 5mm". The look on his face was priceless but in the end the whole issue wasted a lot of my day and a lot of money. What really bothers me is that the machinist is constantly making parts incorrectly but still has his job because of a personal connection. Which is something I see all the time in business and it pisses me off. If some dumbass can't do a job then they shouldn't be paid to do said job!

PS: Said machinist can't do basic math, read a print correctly, and won't even take a drawing if it's in metric.

Dude half the time I just use a terminal for that crap. Type in a bunch of commands and do something else for a minute or two.

I hate clicking a mouse on a computer forever away and waiting 2-3 seconds for it to take effect. Yuck.

watch_dogs has about 200k sound files dumped in one .dat alone without any indication of what they are
it's literally just "sound 000001-190000" something and my only guide is to sort them by length in the windows file explorer
