Im not really well enough known to make my own post about it, so it will just go here.
I am leaving the mech world, the forums side of it at least. I will always have a special place in my heart for mechs, and my custom black/purple board will stay planted firmly on my desk until the day it dies.
But after months of being on forums, and reddit, constantly scouring for deals in the classifieds or mechmarket or constantly refreshing a artisan sale. My wallet is tired. What used to be fun, became tedious and I wasnt getting much done at work, spending all my time on IRC or posting here. I couldn't barely get off my phone, always looking at GBs or pictures of what people got in the mail today. It stopped being about the love for keyboards, and more about the race to have the most exclusive thing. What could i buy that wouldnt just impress me, but others too.
Ive met some super nice people here in my ~9 month stay. Im leaving with a heavy heart, knowing that out her is a community that is great, Caring to all who discover it with a wealth knowledge on things you didnt even knew existed.
I dont want to drag this on too much.
