What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

But that's merely speculation on my part.

This entire thread is speculation...

It appears to me that esoomenona has caught the Ripster disease.

Creating a thread (in the keyboards forum) about the random observations that really have nothing to do with Topre, just to glorify yourself/Topre and boost your post count.

Onset of Ripster disease.

If you start using Lego's in all your keyboard pictures, it will be official. Unfortunately there is no cure...

That's surprising, as I know for a fact Ripster has a large collection of keyboard related pictures on his Imgur. Topre pics included...

Topre created rubber. Then the most used keyboards in the history of keyboards all had rubber. Hmm... Good point, JPG!

Oh. We're moving onto movies, then? What role did Topre play in defining and advancing the film industry?
Topre is used in some video editing keyboards (sony, grass valley/EDIUS, etc). They are also (supposedly) used in aviation. Luckily for us, it seems Topre invented the airline industry. Topre also has metal cased keyboards. I think they must have invented that, too!

But enough about the ursurpers, Alphameric patented a rubberdome capacitive keyboard with NKRO in 1978. It feels better than topre, works better, had pbt dyesubs, etc.

Stop giving topre the credit, when Alphameric is the real champion here. IBM even copied the name, and had "alphameric" keyboard options for some terminals.

I guess I can grudgingly say they had short throw switches before Cherry's G84 series ML keyboards came out.

Try "Thorpe" ;)

In Soviet GH, Moose spams YOU!

Of course, car tires are also inspired by Topre being both round and made of rubber.. as are boobs, especially in groups kown as "clouds".
