I don't understand why these messed up caps haven't been addressed yet. No recall, refund, or statement? You guys shouldn't have to **** with the stems just to make it fit.

Maybe because it's Thanksgiving and most people spend the day with their families?

^ but you, I, and others are here, some still posting about it . You're right though, probably just busy.

But there was all of yesterday and a page full of the stuff, a post regarding the issue doesn't take that long to make

Yeah dude, Bunny and bro are working hard, even on thanksgiving day so cut them some slack. I'm sure they'll get to it as soon as possible, there's a reason they are able to keep quality products

You seem to be very vocal about something that has nothing to do with you. I have spoken to people through PM's and offered solutions.

Stems that were too tight - a bit of elbow grease to work it in there.

Stems that were too loose - this only affected the grumpkins. Still looking into it.

Thanks for the update Bro! <3

Was going to PM you , but a few others already have and didn't want to bombard your inbox! From my personal experience, the reaglar grumpkin (MX) fits fine , but the tootache grumpkin (MX) is super tight.

I would give it a little elbow grease, but really scared to break a switch (especially my Poker II w/ clears).

Edit: for those of you complaining, all will be addressed/taken care of soon.

I would try to use a slim flathead screwdriver and gently jab it in there. Dont twist it around, but clear and extra material that might be restricting the normal fit.
No need to use your switch and damage them in any way. This only takes a few seconds.

The loose ones that were referred to, were only the topre grumpkins.

There is an analogy in there somewhere about Topre being too loose and MX being too tight, but I'm too classy to make it.

ya my topre toothache grumpking is loose that I can pull it off without a puller, but not so loose where I can't type with it. It's currently on my Esc key so I rarely use it, except when in VIM.

My MX Hallowed Grumkin is a little loose on my vintage Blacks, but not so loose that it would pop off.   It fits fine on my Clears.

My MX Toothache was fitting super tight, but I mounted it on and off of some spare switches like Vesper suggested.   Now it fits much better.

Crap. I have a Topre Grumpkin but don't have my Topre board with me. Will be a few weeks before I can try it out. I may try to do a home solution if I have an issue with mine.

That's a very broad statement. Most fit very snug. Some were trimmed down a bit too much and don't grab properly.

Secondly

Regarding this stem talk

I think it's fair to say I have one of the biggest, if not the biggest bro caps collection, and out of all my caps, I have 2 with fitment issues, those being 2 prototype non production stumps that were a little tight, and they were mx

I'm sorry I hadn't stepped in to this convo sooner but I simply wasn't aware of it

Personally I haven't had the new caps yet, so I can't comment on those, but what I can comment on having now worked with bro caps for a very long time, is he has very exacting standards and takes great pride in his work, he doesn't just make a cap and say that's one for sale, every cap is checked for consistency and anything that doesn't meet his standards gets tossed in a bucket, never to be seen again, despite how many times I ask him to make key chains out of them

I'm very sorry some of you are having fitment issues with some caps, I see bro has addressed this above, but please allow us some time, this sale has just shipped and we have just become aware of the issue, we need time to see exactly what the issue is and the extent of it

I don't understand why these messed up caps haven't been addressed yet. No recall, refund, or statement? You guys shouldn't have to **** with the stems just to make it fit.

You seem to be very vocal about something that has nothing to do with you. I have spoken to people through PM's and offered solutions.

Stems that were too tight - a bit of elbow grease to work it in there.

Stems that were too loose - this only affected the grumpkins. Still looking into it.

the spare switch and elbow grease  solution worked great  :thumb: thanks Brosef

On another note I had forgotten how much I love the zombro design it's one of the more over looked ones yet I don't know why because I Luv it

Wasn't there a guy that loved zombros the way triz loves stumps ...Tbc maybe ???? He must be stoked to see a reemergence of these  :p

Does anyone have a few spare switches they could send me? I can pay for shipping!

I tried the flat screwdriver method and it isn't working. Don't want to jam the caps into a switch on one of my 2 poker's.

Am I allowed to see the biggest bro collection in the known galaxy? :D

don't come to my funeral, there wont be one

Does anyone have a few spare switches they could send me? I can pay for shipping!

I tried the flat screwdriver method and it isn't working. Don't want to jam the caps into a switch on one of my 2 poker's.

My offer still stands. If you wanna do it on your board, and somehow a switch breaks then I'll replace it for free

If not, PM me and I'll send you some switches and you can do it that way

Edit: but on subject.

Thanks for the updates Bro!
Can't wait for all the new goodies :)

If it's a BBv3, the anticipation of the design is going to kill me until there's a teaser

Just get yourself a switch tester, and have a neat little display stand for some artisans :)

The CM one is particular nice for that as it looks like a tiny little keyboard: http://techkeys.us/collections/accessories/products/cm-switch-tester

And can even be modded with a Teensy and backlighting (with a little work).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I don't have enough artisans to consider a switch tester! :D

You can put the tracking in parcel force, and occasionally you will get better results, but the usps site does that to me all the time
I'M IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING RIGHT NOW, WILL BE BACK AROUND SOON
