whenever i have alot of keyboard stuff coming in the mail, i always make sure to add a small gift for the gf. You will be surprised how much a $20 cat shirt can make her forget about the $200 keyboard that just came in 
But doesn't she realize that this is just making you spend even more money?? 
I'm facing this with my daughter - I usually have to add a few keycaps for her or she gets upset.
And add on to that letting my other half get herself something too - it does get very expensive.
