OMG, forget it. I'm definitely not getting in...

WTH, my subject of my sent doesn't have CONUS in it. I had the thing pre-written. I am about to lose it.

I definitely wrote it. I reread the directions like 50 times.

That definitely happens. I mistyped the email in my first sale.

First time doing a Brobot sale. My hopes definitely went down upon reading that they usually sell out within a few seconds. Hopefully since I tried for a few topre and mx my odds might increase of getting something!

This always happens to a few people… very disheartening. Chin up though! You don't know the outcome yet, and there will always be more sales. :)

I guess I'm lucky - my other half understands my obsession, and actually insisted I go into the computer room 10 minutes before the sale started.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I am lucky to have a girl who is similar. She doesn't care what I'm into as long as it makes me happy. It is a little tough to explain liking keyboards and key caps though. So I just compare it to a new bag or shoes and she quickly grasps it. lol.

I can't believe I fell asleep.  I missed the sale.  I'm not joking.  I was watching TV and I fell asleep.  Woke up at 11:15 PM EST (9:15 PST).  Oh well.  I was waiting all day for that sale too.

Has anyone forgotten to put CONUS or INTL and got in?

I don't mean to be repetative but I can't believe this happened. I am SURE I put it there. I remember making sure of EVERYTHING. I am wondering if I loaded a different draft and accidentally sent that. Everything else is perfect though. It was also sent at exactly 11PM EST. Not a second later.

This happened to me last time. I swear, one of the reasons I am switching the Android is because of how low the ringer and alarms are on my iPhone for calendar alerts.

Damnit...I set up 3 alarms on my phone and I still missed it. Was trying to get all zeros.

Doesn't it not matter what your email client says unless yours is synced to the website? Cause mine says I was 10sec early, and I definitely was around the 0sec mark..

I recommend refreshing the timer page one or two times in the last minute or so to make sure that your javascript clock has not gotten out of sync with the server time.

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I don't think Bro paints anything.  I think if it is multi color, it is different plastic.  I could be wrong, but I doubt it...

This is my first time doing a Bro sale. When do we usually find out if we made it in or not?

P.S. My girl is looking at me like I'm crazy lol.

Last time some people got invoices very quickly.  In previous sales it has taken a little while.  I think Bro has a system down now, cause he seems to get through them in a pretty reasonable timeframe.

You never know.  It also depends on the traffic on the network and such, so you may get lucky.  Hope some packets get lost and your email service had to resend it.  :P

Sent time isn't the same as received time when it comes to email headers. I sent my clack email 3 seconds (ie 4:19:57PM) before the 4/20 sale and got in.

I think he originally did.  I think it was either him or CC who took down GH during a sale.

In all honesty, the technology serving the forum is not NEARLY robust enough to be able to hand the number of requests we are talking here.  Email is by far the most fair technology in that sense because it can at least handle the load.  It is not without its flaws, but at least its flaws are more predictable...
