I rushed to file in the details at work and only put myself down for winning a max of 1 bro (complete over sight!). The greedy side of me was thinking 'hey geekhack is down, maybe I am in with a chance'. Maybe I might win a bro for the first time in a raffle? But nope no win. Must admit I really like what the HKP guys are doing with putting your name down for a pre order, that way they will always produce just enough of each cap to keep everyone happy. And I don't mind waiting for my caps either. Would love Brocaps to use this idea for a future sale. He sells caps we get caps, everyone wins. I don't even mind if it means delaying the future sales by a number of months. Also it will put off all those people I think that are out there that have multiple accounts to get in on the sales. What you think people?

Agreed.  I definitely wish the raffles were a little more distributed. It always seems like people are getting either a bunch of zero I just want 1 purple v2. This is all I ask for.

As a person who who uses both Reddit and GH evenly, i saw that and was kind of disappointed with the community... I thought they are pretty awesome myself, and upvoted all your comments to try and help out.

r/mk is regularly quite toxic from my experience. It's unfortunate.

Since GH was down I spent most of my time on r/mk. TBH I'm not impressed. It seems like the community there is much less knowledgeable... and basically one giant rapster circlejerk.

Maybe Bro can clarify but it seems like if he did it that way it would be extremely unfair. It also makes me think... and I'm probably wrong. Are there odds more in your favor if you buy 5 due to there being less packages to ship?  Is there an algorithm to this that I'm failing to see here?

I am fairly sure you are wrong. My understanding of the system is that it picks a raffle number, and gives them the amount of caps that they want off their list, and keeps going with raffle numbers until all the caps are gone. This would explain how the people who were first picked get all 5 of their caps, while someone later on might only get one, if the rest of their list was sold out.

To be fair, I feel like the people that say, 'oh that's really high, usually they go for X amount' don't get banned. It's the ones who come in having a ***** fit with the seller thinking it's their place to control an uncontrollable market.

As much as I don't like inflation, I also don't enjoy reading that garbage. Most of the time though, it's just redditors salty about not being able to obtain the item easily.
