Still haven't gotten my springs yet, I believe I'm the only person from the R1 who hasn't.

Got an email from Sprit last time I posted here (October 29) saying I haven't received the springs yet. He wrote that he was shipping both my springs+keyboard in 1 week. He further mentioned the reason I haven't gotten my springs is because I have a keyboard order with him. He invoiced me a further $30 for shipping the keyboard.

Fast forward to today, and still no shipping confirmation of both springs or keyboard. I suggested that he ship the springs separately, but total radio silence on that.

Now I'm not sure what to do. I need springs for several projects I'm working on, and not sure if I should just order springs from Taobao, or continue waiting. I'm a pretty patient person, but Sprit's inaction, as well as the fact that he's still taking orders on his 60%, R2, and R3 GB's are really make me think...

Guys gone radio silent, he is on here mostly every day ( check his profile ) but will not reply to any PM's, emails, etc.
Hopefully if people start to drop out, the people that do stay in the buys at least get some kind of update if the pressure gets put on him.
I get everyone has lives and jobs, etc, but running several group buys at the same time is a pretty dumb idea if you know you don't have the time and resources dedicated to it.

Are there any additional 50g springs that I might be able to purchase or would I need to wait for more to be produced?

I got a bunch of 65g springs, but I think I would prefer 50g.

Probably the 65g. Sprit said the gold plating doesn't have much, if any, effect of the feel and I believe both are Korean springs, so they would be measured similarly (bottom out force as opposed to actuation).

Thanks. I was just confused by an earlier version of this listing where SPRiT said his 75g were like current MX Blacks, which isn't what the graph on the Originative site shows, but that spring seems to have disappeared from here.

That is the voice in my head now. And before I say anything more I don't even have a mechanical keyboard myself on hand "yet" but I've been reading a lot. Got really interested in building an ergo clear keyboard. The "God/best of mechanical keyboards" I see people say. Hmmmmmm. I do like the feel of the tactile feedback of the clears since I got a tester kit to try out the different switches. Decisions decisions or impulse buy.

Having tried both, my opinion is that 62g is the way to go. 65g was nice but I would give a definitive edge to the 62g for feeling more tactile overall.
