Remapping keys within OS X

Hi all,

I figure I can't be the only person using OS X here!

Is there any way to make the top right hand keys of a Ducky Shine III so it can be used by the OS? The keys don't seem to have a mapping in the regular mapping table, so i'm not sure. The picture on the keys are generic pictures, a calculator, a PC, an envelope and a house. I'd love to be able to map them to things.

Check out KeyRemap4MacBook. The name is ****ty, but the software itself is quite powerful and can definitely do what you want.

Its setup is even rougher than the name. But it actually does work. None of your applications will even realize there's a difference. I'm using it to remap my Leopold numeric keypad. (It doesn't send the keypad codes, but now my software doesn't know that.)

Equally brilliantly named theres PCKeyboardHack which allows you to remap tricky keys such as caps lock. Combining the two is very powerful.
