To order please send an email to the address provided with the subject line: (your GH username) and (KBK Sale) along with your address in the body. Please list your choices by the corresponding number with the switch type following.

do artisan capmakers generally disqualify those who send their email in a second too early in first come, first serve sales, or is there "wiggle room?"

Again... quoting Hipster's sale thread:

*Again do not email until the countdown timer ends*

I would assume him highlighting that means there isn't "wiggle room"?

i remember that rule and i would assume that, too, but assumptions don't really appease my curiosity. i distinctly remember a few people being a little too trigger happy during clack's last sale, but still making the cut.

maybe i'll click "send" a second early next time and tell you how things go. ;)

I don't think I've ever wanted anything as bad as a white Mummy II, and I missed my chance. If anyone's feeling generous, I'll trade whatever I have for a Topre Poltergeist or Give Up The Ghost :D

Regardless, awesome to see the community recognition for HP's caps!

I think it was 4 in the morning here when the countdown timer reached 0, I think that being in Australia may put me at a disadvantage when it comes to these things. Then there must be some delay in sending email's compared to being in USA.

In the past, many of the sales were around 7am Malaysia time, so 10am Sydney, which works for you in Australia. But 4am is really tough. I'm not sure if I could stay up.

I set an alarm for an hour before, which wasn't that bad considering its a weekend. I wouldn't be doing that every week though. I would look forward to 10 am timings that would be really good.
