those are good, but they are too tight for my big head :(

what i love about the 700s is the soundstage, you can pin point steps in games very easily. and they extremely light that sometimes i forget i have them on. but im quickly reminded when i get up to get something to drink >.<

Ya I have a tiny head so they fit well lol

I haven't really looked into the 700s much, I am going to start looking now  :D

I think they're on sale for $120 right now too.

O really? From where?

I'd wait. For whatever reason audio technica prices went up recently. I got my pair for 80..  3 years ago. But still, they usually hover around 100.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

Slightly out of date pics - I've a G80-3700 instead of that Goldtouch numpad now and some other bits and pieces are different but mostly the same :D I've also got a EVGA Pro SLI Bridge on the way to replace the standard one :thumb:

That's a heck of a case you've got there!

Is is sideways?  Otherwise I'd say that with all that space they still have to mount the optical drive on its side.

I don't think I've seen a bad looking 540 rig yet.
Ah man. There has to be a way to force it to glow, right? :'(

Me neither - there are some that put mine to shame!  Awesome case and super easy to build a tidy rig in :)

See here for an amazing 540 build - http://forums.bit-tech.net/showpost.php?p=3436853&postcount=41

I really want that case.
Do you find it too wide though?

Actually for me it's perfect - my desk is wide but in a room in the eaves of my house so it being shorter and wider is perfect for me :thumb:  I can see how it'd be too wide if your desk was smaller.

That's a heck of a case you've got there!

Is is sideways?  Otherwise I'd say that with all that space they still have to mount the optical drive on its side.

Thanks!  They probably could have put the drives horizontally but having them vertical means that the power buttons are higher up (giving more cable management space)

That case is sweet

Thanks!  Although there were some things about it that I didn't like - see my mini build log here

It does seem better to run 670s aren't they? How much are each of those cards now? I have just recently upgraded to 760, maybe I should add another 760 to sli!

lol really?
good to see familiar face here :D

too bad I'm into keyboard now, but someone just offered my 670s for the price of a single titan
tempting but...... seriously there's no reason for me to upgrade my rig
its all just lust...

From experience I will stick to a single powerful card the next time I upgrade my rig
SLI is just for looks and benchmarking IMO

I would get the same experience if I run a single Titan/780 compare to running 670 SLI I reckon (1440p @96hz)

Rough to the touch but somehow doesn't irritate and still smooth gliding for the mouse.

Definitely more to the control side, though.

That sounds pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. I just need a change from my Icemat. Been using it for way too long now.

But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

That sounds pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. I just need a change from my Icemat. Been using it for way too long now.

Just give it a shot! The VE is very affordable, not sure how much shipping to Istanbul is, though.

I'll be in the US for two weeks in November, so I'll just get it delivered to our office there, as well as.. yup, more keyboards! I was going to get a HHKB, but like you, I'm also waiting for 55g, if it ever happens. Or a 55g solution. I didn't like the feel of 45's too much, it was just a bit too light for me.

Did you get it straight from their website?
I've been wanting to change mine to medium size, I grabbed the large one and its too big, the local shop doesnt have it in stock anymore

Were the 45gs you tried on a RF or HHKB? Because apparently they feel pretty different

I noticed the same thing.....the HHKB felt stiffer or more solid than the 87u 45's.

The 660C 45g are definitely stiffer than that of the 45g on my 23UB, and if anything, definitely feel better. Can't really compare between the HHKB and the 660C though... yet.

HHKB. I was going to buy blind, but thankfully I ran into someone who owns one, so I tried his. They still feel great, don't get me wrong, but I would just prefer a bit more heaviness.

I haven't tried 55gr yet but that's my next buy. Hopefully EK will get some in stock soon. Now I just have to start selling off my MX collection.

Yeah but at around $250 not including shipping, it's a bit expensive to just try out.
