Hey tigersharkdude, was wondering if you would consider this website as a source for your awesome rests?http://www.woodworkerssource.com/I'm not sure if the pricing is right for you. I guess I'm just trying to help you find some sources to open up the possibilities Definitely considering an option 3 walnut rest with no stain. I'm just waiting on shipment of my TKL board so I can let you know exact measurements =)
Now.. this leopard wood
Cool on the local-ish lumber store! Let us know if you see any interesting woods there

Quote from: Photoelectric on Thu, 03 July 2014, 11:46:26I only brought those up because my monitors are heavy 27" with tempered glass, so when I was making a similar shelf in the past, I had to make it extra strong. It's really a matter of how much weight they will be made to support and overall size.I can stand on mine, as long as I stand on the sides, and Im around 248

I am sad to say that I will not be accepting any new orders for the time being (possibly no future orders will be taken). My table saw took a dump on me and I do not have the funds, nor feel like, buying a new one
Sorry to hear that!I'm glad I got one while I could, though. I really love it. I just need to get some nice pictures of it in action.

Somewhat of an update, I have my saw working again so Im going to attempt to make myself something to make sure all is good before I OPEN this thread back up for ordersI'll post these pics, see if you can figure out what Im making without looking at the EXIF dataShow ImageShow Image
UPDATE: I've had a number of people ask about wrist rests in the last month or two. Would there be any interest in me making them again?
Quote from: tigersharkdude on Wed, 21 January 2015, 09:53:13UPDATE: I've had a number of people ask about wrist rests in the last month or two. Would there be any interest in me making them again?we talked about wrist rest and monitor stand a few months ago. I already bought it sorry about that! i hope someone else will get a good looking Wrist rest from you
I would buy another matching set from you. I still need to get pics of the one I bought. But I would definitely want a painted finish like you have on yours.
It's a good width! If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
Great rests. The one I won in Tigersharkdude's contest still looks like the day it arrived after months of punishment. Never realised how much I needed a rest until I had one, thanks again mate!
Oh.. I still want a leopard wood rest some day!
Depending on shipping, I could be interested in an 80% rest soon.
Quote from: cmadrid on Thu, 22 January 2015, 08:59:22Oh.. I still want a leopard wood rest some day!I will not be using any other woods besides; pine, white wood or Oak (at least not on this old saw). I tried cutting some really hard wood for Photoelectric and it messed up the blade and burnt the motor out on my table saw. That's why I'm gaging interest, to see if it's worth fixing my saw.
Still taking orders?
Currently working on two simple wrist rests for planks, and will soon be working on a cedar piece for hwood
