Before anything, my daily driver is a RF86U Variable force. I've experienced(and historically owned): Model M(BS clicky), FIlco Majestouch TKL(Cherry MX Blue), Choppo Choc Pro(Cherry MX Black). That was back in China and I brought only the 86U to US when I moved to here for school.
A few days ago I typed on a friend's Razer BlackWidow and instantly began to reminsince the clicky and tactile feeling of that board. I removed a keycap to verify it's blue in color so I assume it's Cherry MX Blue. So I began to look for a board with MX blue switch to see if I'll prefer that than my 86U.
So - I'm a touch typist so I dislike any form of fancy backlight on the keyboard. By that principle, I liked the KUL ES-87 by its standard ANSI layout and lack of fancy lights. However I then noticed for some reason it doesn't come with blue switches...only brown, black or clear.
So here am I , seeking advices from you guys:
a) Any standard, low-profile TKL board with MX Blue switch you can recommend?
b) I'm also considering alternatives - namely MX Clear and Topre 55g. Like I said, if I'm craving for more clickyness and tactile feeling than my 86U variable force could offer, any chance I'll like these?
Thanks in advance for any input!
