After reading thru every single post on the last 14 pages I couldn't be more stoked about this!

Definitely put me on the interest list for 2 full cases and atleast one additional top plate for color variation! xD

I'm considering using a GON PCB atm, but I'm slightly confused by the kmac vs a87 question...

Now GON has both a87 and kmac PCBs.
As far as I understand what has been discussed before, both kmac and a87 (with top mounted usb connector) would fit just fine except the usb connecter is shorter on the a87 so the plug will need to be longer (as it sits farther inside the case)?

Right. You can use A87 PCB in the KMAC with long mini USB connector.

The red top from the mockup is pretty much a must have but I also love how black or grey works great with any led color...

A white PC bottom would be awesome since rarely any cases are available in white since it can't be anodized, so the polycarbonate feels like a chance to get white for once maybe...
Also the original renders make the transparent bottom look like a solid white and it just looks amazing in those pictures!

He said..
He will increase the price of pc bottom.
Because My QC is too high to make them low price.
I'm so sad...

I'm super stoked for the case and can't wait for this to happen!

Too bad PC is out of the options because white would have been sweet but its not that bad,
acrylic and aluminum bottom plus all the colors are already loads of options!

Did you mean by QC the quality control would make it more expensive then expected?
I wouldn't mind paying more for a white pc bottom but I can definitely understand if it gets too expensive and
doesn't meat enough interest to the additional poly carbonate bottoms.

I hoped that the price of Housing, plate and PCB will be $200.
But now.. It will be $250 or more.

250$ still seems like a attractive and very reasonable price to me tho for a beauty like this, especially considering the limited quantity that might be made and all those options offered!
I think its a good middle way between keeping cost as low as possible for everyone but still offering all those sweet option! =)

I don't think removing the black pc bottom is a big issue for example as you can still go black aluminum if you want an alternative to the backlit transparent bottom!

He had a plan to buy a machine for PC.
if I will make many... he should buy the machine.
so I said that the quantity would hang on your factory price.

I'm waiting for cherry PCB.
When the PCB testing shall be finished, I will open GB.
ALU bottom and PC bottom.
Many colors of ALU tops.
SUS and ALU plate.
Alps PCB and Cherry PCB.
There will be many options in TX87 GB..... in May.

Dear mother of god, PLEASE have a flat version... I told myself I was willing to pay $700 for a Kmac 1.5 if it fit my specifications...

Any ideas on how solid this thing will be relative to the Kmac? Because this is key for me. I literally want the keyboard standing after I smash it on a wall, full force, with both of my arms. (I'm actually not exaggerating.)

Did you mean there still might be hopes for colored polycarb bottoms kin if the prices get lower?
Clear and Alu bottom and multi color tops should be more then enough options!

But if color polycarb is still a chance white would be absolutely amazing!

Very interested in this. A sub 200$ price would be very appealing. One very important thing is to make a case as thin and as flat as possible. From that, you can always add inclination and thickness with various options.

As far as I understand poly carbonate (PC) bottom will come with PC mounting plate and aluminum bottom with a stainless mounting plate, right?

We don't really need pcb mounts, since we have beautiful mounting plate options! =D

It would be cool if we could select stainless or pc bottom plate, but making it case depended would be totally fine as well I guess!

So only metal plate planned.

I really love the idea of a pc plate tho kin, and looks amazing on your pictures!
