Summer Santa Sign Up FormTo start, I really want to discourage people just in it to get something cool and marginally participate. We've had people in the past who signed up just to get cool stuff and either didn't send anything on, or sent junk on to someone. That said, just because you're not financially well off doesn't mean you can't sign up and make something cool for someone. Remember, Secret Santa is about giving, giving what you feel comfortable giving, and giving something from the heart that you really think the other person will like. You're trying to find something thoughtful based on what you know about them.
Theme:There weren't really any theme suggestions, but CPTBadAss' made the assertion that he wants what 2chainz wants. Thus, the theme is Off the Chainz, a 2chainz Summer. Make it as serious or ridiculous as you want, just try to make it something 2chainz would want...like waking up in a Bugatti. And if this goes sideways, we can all blame it on CPTBadAss.
And whatever you do, don't send a stripper to someone's house or work address.
Rules- You must have 100 posts and be an active member
- You must send your package with tracking
- You can pick a region to ship to
- $20 minimum, no maximum. This is to try and prevent freeloaders or people sending on crap they don't want instead of putting thought into a gift. Thoughtful handmade stuff is encouraged even if it's under the dollar amount. Quality and thought are what count.
- Each person will be paired up with one other person. That doesn't mean you can't send your own gift on to someone else, just that each person in the pool will only be paired up with one other person.
- You must mark your package as from Summer Santa. Remember, this is a surprise.
- No opening your package until the Summer Solstice, June 21, 2015. When you do open it, be sure to post pictures
- You must post pictures. It's a huge bummer when someone gets a and doesn't acknowledge it. It can be a potato picture, but post something just so everyone knows it got there.
- All Santa pairings will be revealed in the beginning of July
- Sign up lasts until April 20th to give a little more time to find stuff and packages must be shipped no later than two weeks before the Summer Solstice for international and one week for shipments within your own country.
