Geekhack and Infinity Keyboard mention on Gizmodo Brazil
« on: Fri, 17 October 2014, 13:04:12 »
Hello guys.

Just wanted to share that today, an article regarding the Infinity Keyboard and GeekHack's participation on the project was written on Gizmodo Brazil. I found it very interesting because I've never seen another brazilian user here and mechanical keyboards doesn't have any sort of attention in my country.

This is the first time ever I've read something at least mentioning them.

Actually, some time ago somebody linked me to a BR forum and everybody was talking about QF's and Razer's keyboards, and that only. There wasn't too many users, it was a gaming forum in which somebody posted questions about keyboards.

It's interesting to see that the custom ones are now getting some sort of attention, and by the picure I thought it was the JD40 but I don't believe that they've got awareness that super customs like JDs exist.

Thay also talked about crowdfunding projects and Massdrop/Kickstarter. If you want to take a look, here's the link (it's in PT-BR but there are some pictures):

I hope to see a BR mechanical keyboard community some day. I think it would be very nice.

Peace,

MiTo

Many of their articles were actually fairly decent. They used to do good reviews about stuff, but that was before they were acquired by a crappy BR ISP (UOL).

They basically destroyed the site and turned it into a brazilian Cult of Apple and a random blog about "science".

lucas (lcs) is from Brazil and one of my best buds on geekhack, I love the dude. We love to ***** about how our countries and the government systems are a fail on gtalk.

Agodinhost is another really cool guy who shares the love of building things with me, and we've had a good amount of chat on the same. Although he is a lazy bum.

This is pretty cool, it seems that there are indeed a few brazilians here and that they are very active.

If there's a snack exchange here on GH someday, I'd gladly join in order to ship people some things that do not exist in any other place of the word. There's something that kind of tastes like Reese's here, it's also made of peanut but it doesn't have butter, I love it.

This is such a great idea!

I mailed some snack food to another country once. It was pretty fun. I just got all the american food that I never eat and put it in the box.

Like mazapan? Anyway, there is. It's called the Halloween Exchange. Search for it if you really want.

Kinda, but instead of eggs the industry use peanut and sugar.

It's called Paçoca (paah-sooh-caah).

I'll try to join the Halloween Exchange.

"The iPhone 6 can now be used as a beard trimmer. What happens next will change your life."

Then you click and a 15 long slide show begins.

It's always very hard to find the arrows that actually scrolls the slide show.
