Good 'cause the box I mailed it to you in was used for my WEY kb shipment and has seen serious use previously for xerox. You should recycle the cardboard.

If a slot is available i'll take one!! My keyboard budget seriously took a hit this year and I'm debating whether to buy a novatouch or rf 55g for the next board. Having a week with this beaut should make my decision easier.

Just an update guys. I'll be picking up the Novatouch today. Sign ups are now closed.

I'll be holding on to the board for a week or two to test drive myself and to put different caps on it. Then I'll PM everyone to verify they're still interested and to gather addresses.

Please try to test the board in a timely manner and to keep in touch with us through the thread or with me in PMs. That will help keep things running smoothly. Thanks to everyone who showed interest. There will be more rounds later.

But there's nothing stopping you from starting your own tour. I'm just sayin'. There's loads of GH'ers in France and other parts of Europe that'd probably be really grateful.

And I just noticed that my local store has some since 11/11. Last time I checked you had to import one from USA which is pretty expensive and you had only ANSI layout.

Now I am wondering is there a feeling difference between novatouch switches and the realforce one considering the same strength of activation?

The switches are identical, but typing feel is different because of case construction, keycaps, etc. I find that keycaps can really change the feel of the Novatouch.

I packed a mostly full set of thick cherry POM that should change things up significantly.

If you can get your hands on it, try out SA. It's a big difference.

Have waiting for a chance to get some SA keycaps! So hard to come by. Doesn't help that I live outside of the US.
So far I feel the grippier and taller the keycaps, the more horizontal tension on the switch. This tension provides a nice pop to the top of the keypress.

You can try this by attempting depressing a keycap diagonally instead of directly down.

Is this the same thing that is happening with SA profile keycaps?

- SP SA
- SP DSA

I managed to spend 40 minutes on the board before giving up. My hands hurt too bad to continue typing. I'll post a little more about this before I send it out. Still not a Topre fan.

I typed on it with SA for about a week: was awesome!

I only got to try it with POM for a short time but it was still pretty great.
