Holy **** that Jersey accent is strong with Hipster hahaha. Making me miss the Northeast... And BunnyLake sounds *a lot* like photekq. Like you're brothers or something @.@.

And that's bull****, Sent needs to sing Shake it Off on the next podcast .

BunnyLake, I would love to see those Jane Doe albums :D.

Karaoke entry!  I think that'd cause everyone to never read the blog again. :))

Idea for a future podcast, get as many Ctrl alt guys together and then do a sort of ama or Q&A. Collect questions from the community and then just in a short like 30-45 minutes just go through answering questions.

Edit also someone you should interview is nuclear_sandwich. One of the coolest guys I've met since joining.

Did you mean collect questions regarding CTRL ALT?  Or just random questions that the CTRL ALT guys answer?
Anything. Although I'd like to stay away from asking about Ctrl alt besides things like how it got started and stuff. I don't want them to reveal secrets and stuff they are working on. I think it would be great to just get a chance to engage with the Ctrl alt team besides the daily badgering about where's my caps.

Personal questions like what's your favorite color.

Anything. Although I'd like to stay away from asking about Ctrl alt besides things like how it got started and stuff. I don't want them to reveal secrets and stuff they are working on. I like these ideas.  This is something we can do, for sure.  Almost like a meet and greet for the CTRL ALT team.  I'll try setting this up.

Maybe set up a Google Doc where people can submit questions and then the team can pick and choose the best ones to answer.

Edit: basically an ama but with more of a meet and greet vibe.

I believe it's a return to text.  Until I get new equipment, I'm going to shy away from the audio.

also, we needed some restrictions to make the post viable, otherwise it would have said, how to choose the right keyboard for you? decide if you like white or black and then order the correct hhkb accordingly

Whoever made the decision to design the keyboard in such a way that the keycaps cannot be replaced with aftermarket sets, should be taken out back and shot.

No.  No, that's wrong.

Tym, I'm going to give you a list of every thread I'm watching.  Please have every post in all of the threads recorded for me by 1900 CST (-0600 UTC) each night, so that I can listen to them throughout the evening.

Thank you, I really do appreciate your generosity.

PS, if it's too much work, you can have Bunny (and probably Margo, though I haven't heard him speak yet) help you.  ;)

Nice blog entry JD! are there going to be more blog posts on this same topic?

Also Tym, that actually would be awesome if you did have the time to do audio transcripts for the blog posts. I liked reading with audio so i don't have to listen to my own stupid voice lol

New blog entry up and with input from your fellow Geekhackers.  To those that participated, thank you.  I couldn't use everything that was sent to me and some I may use in the future so look out for PM's from me. :)

For those who prefer an audio version, Tym is currently recording that.  I sent it to him a bit late so the delay is on me. :-[  Once he's done, I'll upload it. :thumb:

Awesome! Cool to see how many people are looking forward to the same things as me. I'm guessing we may only see 1-3 GMK sets meet MOQ. As for alps popularity, I don't see it booming, but I do see it growing. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Kingsaver was too expensive. It was my end game alps board though, so I paid my arm and leg for it haha. Really excited to see some new artisans around, and if we get more RGB boards around, I'll be happy.

:thumb:
Liked the read , great as always .

I'm hoping that as the blog gets more readers, we'll be able to poll a larger group of people willing to help out and voice their input.  It's very cool to talk to everyone and see what their thoughts are.

I liked this one, especially with the community inputs, added a little mix to the bowl.
