as soon as matt3o says that it's definitely happening, i'll be ordering a White/Gray Realforce 87U 55g and a White/Gray Non-Printed HHKBP2 Type-S.

and a White 23U. to complement.

The only reason I have not preordered yet, is that I need to find out if I like topre first. My HHKB will get here this week, and if all goes well I will be joining in with at least a black and white bundle. Possibly colors, depending on which win the vote. I'd rather not give a false promise and find out I'm not a fan of Topre.

Go ahead and sigh up, if you don't like Topre it will increase your resale value with the PBT spacebars!

I tried few cherry switches, and I must say, once I went topre, there was no way back for me.. Really, it's just that special feeling when you type.. Type Heaven basically.

No comparisons...either side of the aisle will argue about this, but there is no Cherry MX switch that feels like Top Rubber, same as there are no rubberdomes that feel like mechanical switches. I am not saying that Topre is a membrane, but it is just in another league of keyswitch of which no Cherry can compare IMHO.

I don't think a thread devoted to selling a slightly improved spacebar for Topre keyboards at massive cost to diehard Topre enthusiests is really the proper venue for unbiased discussion on the merits of Topre.

I would like only one. It seems the minimum is 2

It would be one of the easiest re-sales ever. Personally although I'm going to need one I'm hanging on to the other. At some point in the next 10 years I'll buy another type s to replace my current one and on goes a new PBT space bar.

I'm buying way more space bars than I will ever need because I sincerely doubt we will see another group buy for them for a very long time, if ever again. It's going to sting a little bit when I drop $100+ on just space bars but I'm not going to bank on the possibility of there being another group buy however many years in the future.

i'm up for 4 black 4 white right now (will probably change to 2 black 6 white).

I do seem to recall reading somewhere that there were a small number of Japanese Topre boards that came with PBT spacebars (broadcaster station boards or something) but I thought those were pretty well impossible to get ahold of.

Same here, just wanted very conservative colours that match the current ones on any White or Black Realforce Keyboards.
