Now that is impressive.

First fully backlit Topre switches with Cherry MX compatibility

Also, he mentioned in the video that he's going to do brightness control next.

extremely so! I was paging through the pictures (the only translation I need) and it is indeed praiseworthy. I think I would have gone with a much easier but less impressive method of placing the LEDs in the corner of the switch topre style.

Look at it!

It's not any issue of age that made it nsfw, it was the content of the image.

So about that novatouch mod. Pretty cool, amirite?

i especially enjoy the use of magnet wire and copper tape and the way he's routing all the current for that entire LED matrix through one tiny trimpot.

The feel is similar to the 45g - but the stock Novatouch doesn't give the distinctive thump known to the Realforce.

The one I tried felt snappier than the 45g on either the 660 of HHKB. It honestly feels like the weight of 45g with the tactility of the 55g

This, although this is at least our second time agreeing on it.  I'm not actually sure if I like it.  But I keep going back to it.  Something about that loud snap back is enjoyable.  Now to steal the 55g domes from my 87ub and put in on my hhkb.  Will report soon.

I actually really enjoyed it...I just don't know if I liked it as much as 55g. Still liked it more than most cherry though.

Right - And with real 87U 55g at 215$ on EK, unless you are really into custom keycaps, there is absolutely no reason to go the Novatouch way.
