Write your post when you're done and don't announce you're going to, that's just annoying and honestly, no one cares about it.

Unless you also got yourself an IBM 3278 keyboard, I probably won't get around to reading it for a while :p

I think the topic would have had more effect if it was just initially posted with details of when you first noticed the problem and then how you tested it... You might want to do that over in the Elitekeyboards section to let Majestouch know.

Wellingtons gone of the deep end because I just verified that the $50 DSI/Solitek 6600 has genuine branded ALPS keyswitches, has a slightly better feel than the Filco Zero, and no NKRO issues!

Although they are similar, there is a noticeable difference between the Solitek's ALPS key switches and the Filco's Fukkas.  The ALPS are slightly more clicky and also have a slight edge in tactile feel.

I concur with Sandy that both the simplified ALPS and so call Fukkas are inferior to the original complicated ALPS key switches.  The Northgate Omnikey is superior in just about every way to the Filco Zero or Solitek 6600.  The Northgates are also one of the ugliest keyboards ever designed.  It's a good thing I'm a touch typist so I don't have to look at the keyboard  :)

Hey, it's possible this is the post Welly as alluding to...

Welly just posted his ABS M1 review.  I beat him by 7 mins with a prediction.

"Get REAL Dude" is what I always say.

So that's what you always say huh?

The genuine orginal complicated ALPS are superior.  It don't make no never mind how much you dudes try to rationalize and prove other wise.
