wellington's gone off the deep end...
the keyboard fairy has brought him an imaginary low-scan-rate fukka board
Wellingtons gone of the deep end because I just verified that the $50 DSI/Solitek 6600 has genuine branded ALPS keyswitches, has a slightly better feel than the Filco Zero, and no NKRO issues!
Although they are similar, there is a noticeable difference between the Solitek's ALPS key switches and the Filco's Fukkas. The ALPS are slightly more clicky and also have a slight edge in tactile feel.
I concur with Sandy that both the simplified ALPS and so call Fukkas are inferior to the original complicated ALPS key switches. The Northgate Omnikey is superior in just about every way to the Filco Zero or Solitek 6600. The Northgates are also one of the ugliest keyboards ever designed. It's a good thing I'm a touch typist so I don't have to look at the keyboard
