Great colorway! Pearlescent?

It doesn't shift color so much as it has high contrast  where the reflective particulate is most present vs the colorant in the urethane.

Can't call them bad when everyone else likes them but for me they are so bright and shiny yet dark/deep coloured that the details are harder to make out compared to the other colours in this sale.  The Keythulu and SpaceBear look great as they aren't as intricate, but the other three don't appeal to me at all.  Of course it may just be the pictures giving a wrong impression - only you know for sure!

You've still not managed ugly :p

That color makes it so easy to see the amount of detail on the caps. I'm liking the dual colors also but I'm trying to match the triumph alder set that I'll be getting in the mail soon! Since you said the color can vary with lighting greatly, do you think the tealish caps will match up pretty well with TA?

That color makes it so easy to see the amount of detail on the caps. I'm liking the dual colors also but I'm trying to match the triumph alder set that I'll be getting in the mail soon! Since you said the color can vary with lighting greatly, do you think the tealish caps will match up pretty well with TA?

The ones I just made?  No not at all.  They vary with the light way too much, but it's not like I have a TA set on hand to check.

I think my favourite colour is tangerine but there are so many orange caps to be had I'm feeling confident of getting my hands on one!
