I'd say the Steelers have more "gold" color than the Packers and I don't really even consider the Steelers colors to be black and gold but black and yellow. When I think of the color gold I usually think of the Pittsburgh Penguin's gold.

To be serious for a second, it's not that crazy of a comparison, both franchises have appeared in 5 Super Bowls (Packers 4-1, Raiders 3-2), both spend a lot of time discussing histories quite a while in the past (Packers 30s & 60s, Raiders 80s), both have appeared in only one SB in the last 15 years, and it's only the crazy years of Al Davis that caused their current state. They were perennial contenders up until the 2003 season.

And it's my own personal perspective, but I consider Favre's years to be "recent", so in my eyes they've won two recently.  But that's mostly just cause I was alive for and remember them.

How did your Broncos fare in their last SB appearance?  :3

Ben is a pretty strong QB, he rarely gets hurt but he can't seem to stay on the field this season. Mike Vick got his two seconds of glory before getting hurt as well. Steelers are having problems getting enough players between qb's, kickers, etc.

My favorite part is when they made a big deal that he was only 3 yards away from breaking the all time passing record and then his next pass is an interception. Record remains unbroken. :p

Well... I'm disappointed with that outcome, but I am very proud of the Giants for stepping up and playing that hard. So much fun to watch. GO BIG BLUE!
