I don't collect figures, but these are pretty badass looking. Might have to get one for my dad as he loves star wars collectibles!

Silly. Star Wars costumes are already pretty samurai-inspired already, simplified mostly because of cost reasons. Some of the early concept art is even more samurai-esque. Darth Vader's helmet is definitely a samurai helmet. Then there are lots of other samurai-Vader artworks out there already, including action figures and statuettes.

And BTW, a samurai should wear both a Katana and a Wakizashi. The Katana should be worn with the cutting edge up so as to not wear it unnecessarily and as to be able to draw the sword and make a downward cut in the same motion.

BTW 2. Boba Fett (the real costume) has keyboard keys on the shoulders. They are probably from a point-of-sale keyboard. I have not identified the correct type yet, but Devlin's are close.

I saw these on Otaku Mode and they're really cool, but sadly I don't collect figures.

They had all of them, including the Royal Guard, at one booth during NYCC. They were beautiful in person. Almost had to go home with a Boba Fett.

Also Vader's sword was a katana but was translucent red like his light saber.

I see these sometimes(or similar) at Gunpla shows. Samurai Star Wars seems to be a popular theme amongst modders.

How did it only just click for me that Vader's crest is the Death Star?
