Those look amazing! Do you know when the buy will go live? And will the set be shipped in the trays? I've been dealing with scratches on the most recent gmk sets that I bought since they didn't have trays...

In that case, it might go that route, but I don't know what the plan is there, just that I was planning on the bags.  I don't remember if we talked about trays vs bags.

I am okay with bags if that is what people want, but I am highly against it. You are almost guaranteed scratched keys if we don't use the trays (they are updated by the way). I had 8-10 very scratched keys from the skidata+ group buy and many more with less noticeable scratches. This will only creat more work for you Nubbs for when people ask for replacements. I am more than willing to pay a little bit more and avoid the hassle. It is truly a bummer when you open your new set to find ugly marks on them guys. Just my two cents.

I believe the updated tray uses sturdy pins throughout the tray to make sure the tray doesn't move around and allow the caps to move freely. There should be no chance of scratches with that. This is what my Sky dolch came in. I can update the thread with a picture of the tray so people can see what I mean as well as show pictures of what kind of scratches I have experienced. If there is interest for that just let me know.

To echo what others have said, the GMK trays are vastly improved since the TA fiasco.  They learned.  An added benefit: the trays give GMK a 2nd level of sorting for every set.  This means fewer missing and duplicate keys and fewer headaches at the final stages of the GB.  Well worth the cost increase.  $6-7 for a meticulously-sorted set with no scratches?  Yes please.
