Update.

I have now requested that GON send the white PCBs and stabilisers with DHL after we got an update from EMS today.

They told us that their packages after the 3rd quarter of each year often gets delayed. They told us that almost no packages go missing between Germany and Norway. This is quite a large package.

This was also an expected delay we were not informed by.

Usually the wait time is 1 month, but it looks like this year, it will be delayed further. (It's been a month very soon)

2 months is the maximum wait time ever recorded.

Sorry, LeandreN, can you please clarify the update... I don't read this as great news quite yet. I understand your message to mean that your/ our package (including the mint green PCBs, etc) is nearly one month lost and they have yet to find it but packages are rarely/ never lost for more than two months. Is that correct or has the original package been located?

The second shipment of white PCBs you've asked GON to send via DHL is a replacement or additional parts of the same initial order?

We shipped with EMS
It did not show up so we contacted them, after a while they told that due to the Christmas rush, it was expected to be delayed 1-2 months.
It has been 1 month soon.

They also told be that is very uncommon for them to loose packages of this size, and that this was an expected delay they hadn't told us about.

Has it been located?
They tell us it is in Germany, but we never know...


The shipment from DHL is all the white PCBs and stabilisers, not replacements for anything.

Yup, not a great business model on EMS's part. Can't imagine if FedEx or UPS here in the US said "sorry, we're very busy, it will be 1-2 month delay..." Note to self: Never use EMS for anything ever, never, ever.

We're still with you LeandreN and I personally am not irritated with anything on the GB, IMO you run this all very well! I am however neurotic and impatient, so I will probably go find another plate to build my Zeal60 with now that all the other components are in and I'm only waiting on a plate which could take another 4-6 weeks to make it to me...

Shipment notification on the 2nd shipment aka white pcbs and stabilisers. Arrival Monday, I will be shipping 3 hours a day (and maybe build a board in between ) to get them out asap.

Not yours or GON's fault. EMS EU needs to step their game up. I've had a dozen packages from Asia -> NA delivered without trouble and timely using EMS.

Case: Shipping delays from EMS

Shipment 1 of PCBs(mint) area delayed in Germany on the way to Norway. We are currently working on contacting and getting updates from EMS.

Plan:

While I can wait for this PCBs, I want to start the GB for the Fjell High Profile 60% case, therefore, I want to clarify the plan so you don't feel forgotten.

White PCBs:

White PCB orders, plate orders etc. will go out starting late next week.

Mint PCBs:

Get weekly updates from EMS via GON.
If they should arrive, I will be starting shipping within 2 days of arrival.
If they should not arrive in a timely matter, I am setting up a backup plan, but let's hope it's here very soon.

(I forgot to invoice some of you for tracked shipping, so I will be in contact about that. If you know that you wanted tracked shipping, you can contact me already so can i check up.)


This GB will have first priority. I hope to have some goodies for the participants later this year due to this delay.

I got way more of the mint PCBs for my store than I did of these. Since the Mint PCBs are still in Germany, I don't have much extra.
