With arrow keys and such bottom role support, if completed with a Korean case... This is definitely my 60% endgame.

Already talk to leeku here's the final layout for this pcb

Maybe some or all bottom combination lose 1 screw for universal case

price for pcb $55 (presoldered)
plate alu/steel $30 and $35 or $40 for brass

Start to make GB thread soon  ;D

Based on the render a bottom row with

1.5-1.5-6.25-1.25-arrows is also feasible, right?

Aww damn, my favorite layout was the 7u space bar one.

Ah sorry i should give some combination because 8 combination too much in 1 pcb, hope u still interest with other one  ;)

Edit : u can still use 7u spacebar using 6,25 pin hole... and bottom row should be 1.25-1.25-7-1-arrow but u need to make custom plate it self

Based on the render a bottom row with

1.5-1.5-6.25-1.25-arrows is also feasible, right?

hmmm i think its 1.5-1.5-6-1.25

Edit : My bad. its still feasible ;D

Hmmmm... i look again to old concept with 8 combination bottom row and its seem feasible to this new layout 6 bottom combination and its just miss stabilizer hole for 7u so i talk again to leeku to make sure and he will check it again this weekend.

Hopefully we can still use this 8 bottom combination

not sure about the name but it's use l3 firmware like other leeku pcb, i'll ask leeku for specific controller name

If only this had Alps support.. may still get it though  :-X

with this many bottom combination? it's seems really hard but i will ask leeku after get final layout from him and if possible we will go with mx/alps pcb to get more interest.

Would be nice but no biggie. I understand it can be impossible with the traces.

I see you have the split spacebar option.
Have you thought of replacing it with the options from m65 or exent?
Or even better make sure of the 2u from the numpad.
Like 2u 1.5u 2.75u

Glad u notice that, i never use split spacebar before XD
so if we do like other split spacebar default that should be 1-1-1-2.25-1.25-2.75-1.25-arrow keys

controller use Atmega 32 a

--------------------------------------------------
News update from leeku

- split spacebar combination change to 1-1-1-2.25-1.25-2.75-1.25-arrows
- this pcb cant be both mx/alps because to many bottom row combination

all leeku pcb's use L3 firmware, but there are tmk for l3 project like this one https://github.com/xauser/tmk_keyboard/tree/xauser/keyboard/l3

i will keep support 7u spacebar
here's bottom option i give to leeku to check

--- UPDATE---
after i contacted leeku to check if he can do 8 bottom combination r5 option, he said still working on it and not be sure until he arrange it... so to make plan B if he can't put 8 option R5 in this PCB i'm taking poll to see which bottom option you interest for this PCB. It will help me to see which option with most interest for this pcb, so that option with most interest will be put in plan B. And for people who want make it mx/alps PCB sure it will help with less option to make mx/alps PCB.
So please vote which option you're interest :)
Thanks!

Current Poll results shows interest in the layouts featuring 6.25 and 3 units space bars; however, I wonder if 3u space bars are available some where.

Personally, I am interested mostly in 6.25 and 6 unit space bars support, but would take a PCB with split space bars for future experimentation.

Edit: I like the 7u space bar but I do not see a need for one in a layout whose main focus is to provide space for arrows and alternate layouts with split space bars.

Filco Minila uses 'OEM' profile caps.
It's possible, but 6.25/7 and 6 are much more common and supported by most key sets, not the case for 3u space bar, e.g. any GMK set support 3u space bar?
The 2.25 + 1.25 + 2.75 are also smart move because of the 2.25 and 2.75 shift keys.
In the long run, 2.25 and 2.75 caps with real space bar profile are preferred.

I really want to see more 60% board / case with arrow cluster, e.g. like the HHKB JP version.

There is no 3u GMK space bar available, as far as I know. There is only support for 2.25 and 2.75 unit space bars at GMK. Most sets offer support for the classic 6, 6.25 and 7 u space bars, of course.

Interesting how Wodan knew that GMK can support 2.25 / 2.75 space bars in the first place.

May be 4u spacebar? Since 1u key in the middle do not reachable by thumb for touch typing anyway.

Still I have no idea why this pcb doesn't have a full length bottom row, and chooses instead a shorter hhkb bottom row  :)) aesthetics I suppose.

It's difficult to deal with the 0.75u spaces on both sides.
The L_Shift (2.25u) and R_Shift (1.75u) on the row above remain to be some of those more available Shift units.
HHKB JP has 2 sensible 0.25u dividers on the bottom role.

All these 60% boards with arrow clusters have their smart solutions: 1u R_Shift (HHKB JP & Filco Minila), "Banana split" 60% PCB, and this one.
If I really have to choose one among them, I think this one has a more elegant solution in my opinion. I believe I would enjoy the larger R_Shift compared to the 1u R_Shift of Filco Minila and HHKB JP.

One thing I would like to add is the L_Shift split to have a 1u + 1.25 option, instead of just the usual 1.25u + 1u.

1. i choose standard arrow key and not moving any alpha key
2. it can be done if we use 1u shift but it's hard to find
3. yes it's for aesthetics  :p

A Sixty PCB with arrows and split space bar is always an exercise on balancing usability, convenience and usage of standard key caps. We may not like the final result, but I think this one in particular is a great common ground that meets all the requirements elegantly. I like the Banana split, also; but, the small empty corners makes this one particularly good looking and the flexibility for using different space bar sizes is great to have.

Still I have no idea why this pcb doesn't have a full length bottom row, and chooses instead a shorter hhkb bottom row  :)) aesthetics I suppose.

1. i choose standard arrow key and not moving any alpha key
2. it can be done if we use 1u shift but it's hard to find
3. yes it's for aesthetics  :p

So why not this bottom row?

I think the banana split may cover your needs.

Guys this is 6 option what i got from leeku

but consider to result poll i ask leeku if he could change
1.25 - 1.25 - 1.25 - 1.25 - 3u spacebar - 1.25 - 1.25 -arrow cluster
with
1.5 - 1.5 -  6.25u spacebar - 1.25 - arrow cluster

but so far this 6 option from leeku i think it's fair enough to covered in 1 PCB  ;)

If we can make this fit most standard 60% cases, this would be tits!
