Just wanna chip in that the scaling of the wood textures is a rough estimation, I didn't spend too much time measuring and stuff but it should get you a good enough idea of the final product for now.

I'll 100% be down for an ebony set based on price. Looking at picking up a secondary board, so having one of these would be great for work. Planning on the same angle as the tenting stand that was sold with the kit?

I think you would be better off finding a milling service that can do wood.
If you go that route I suggest using one type of wood with different stains to mimic the material.
Unlike headphones, the specific type of wood isn't crucial to defining the final product, only the color.

Yea, that makes complete sense. I wasn't able to get the acrylic stands that were part of the VE.A drop, the kit with switches and keycaps had me tapped out, and I'm happy that I didn't now because wood stands will look much better than the acrylic.

There are many variables that will add to the price like shipping the finished product to me, shipping materials, shipping to the customs, fees etc. that will affect the price, so I can't say until the IC is finalized and ready to become a GB.

That being said, the woods vary in price, but taking into account the acrylic stand's price and the price of other wood wrists (this is two parts though), I don't think you'll be worried about the pricing being too high.

That is good to know! I was worried it would be ridiculously high!

Do you have any estimates on when the GB will go live? I need to know whether to set aside money for it this month or just wait until next month.
