I signed up on the list awhile ago, I guess I was just curious if there was an IC thread on some other forum or something because I haven't seen much movement or indication that anything is happening on that site in months.

It's going to be made by Input Club after the K-Type. There's not much to say at the moment except case and PCB design has begun.

I am still waiting for LSV3 though, hopefully I can join the group buy.

that group buy has already ended, and they sold out in 30 seconds

How does the light saver differ from RS96 functionally?

Is the the only difference the board house and case mfgs?

$300 for the base kit, not including shipping or extra plates/pcbs

Is the 6u spacebar with arrow keys layout possible? I've gotten really attached to the 1.5 1 1.5u on the left side but I also want arrow keys.

Also want to know this, if a 6u spacebar is not possible, then the rs96 is superior.

It doesn't look like a 6u spacebar is an option since he didn't list it as a supported layout.

Also, I don't think anyone is concerned about the rs96 being superior. This board probably has a 10 or 20 to 1 ratio of people who want to buy it vs how many will actually be available.

Pretty sure there are more factors that go into deciding if a board is superior. Build quality, for instance, is one thing a lot of people value.

Lots and lots of interest for what is likely to end up being very few boards.

I believe V2 was unlimited orders, but I'm not sure. I think the most recent Duck GB on here (octagon?) was also unlimited, so hopefully LSv3 will be as well.

Octagon, Blackbird and Eagle/Viper were all limited to 100 iirc, so wouldn't be surprising to see this limited to 100 too.

There were only 30 v2 sold according to the google doc in that thread so I doubt it was unlimited.

The last GB was also limited to 100 orders, unfortunately. See here:

We'll see whether it is different this time.

So torn between planning for this or Kira. I'm bad with angles; does Kira have an 11-ish degree angle as well? From the mockups and my poorly trained eye it kind of looks like it to me.

I'm in the exact same boat. Does anyone have any idea on when kira is going to happen? My plan is to get in on this and if I miss out (which is likely) I'll get kira. If I'm lucky and can get both I'll be able to sell my least favorite without issue.

LSv3 Means Orion could be around the corner! :D

I know everyone loves Duck boards, but can you answer a question for a Newb? How much will this set me back?

$400 + shipping is probably a good estimate

$50~ for switches and stabs also
Add $200 for a GMK keyset with some matching colored mods.
$25 for a custom cable.
Find a matching artisan at retail $60

Should I go on :D

So far, every korean custom(OTD, DUCK etc) I have seen has been exceptional with elegant design, high quality build, and amazing QC. 1 issue is that the firmware could be made to be more user-friendly when creating a layout. GON and WKL however has gone above and beyond to an extremely user-friendly layout designer and I hope all the korean custom builds will have similar software in the future! Although there english might not be that great, they stand by every product and will even cover the international shipping cost on replacement parts to fix issues, from what I've seen.

Unfortunately that seems pretty difficult without the ability to speak Korean.
