More than likely your problem is that the driver for the controller chip is not installed. Have a look at this thread.

Is this a GH60 Rev A or B or C? Is this a Satan GH60? Do you have a HEX file built and are just trying to flash or are you trying to build a HEX file? Or are you using EasyAVR to build the HEX file? If you're trying to build the HEX file from source using TMK or QMK, what operating system are you using?
