OK, I'm typing on my VArmilo VA69M with Tealios v2 right now:)
After I got Varmilo keyboard I bought desoldering stuff (pump) and I desoldered it on Saturday, then yesterday I soldered Tealios on it. I had few ugly issues with it, as it was my first desoldering project, but with help of our forum member (thank you suicidal_orange !!!
) I got it working.
I just have joined the drop for XDA Canvas, which will be shipped in August (that waiting...
) but for now I put on SA Penumbra on it.
So, I have to say that from all MX swithces I tried (black, brown, green, blue) - Tealios v2 are amazingly smooth.
I am a Topre lover, all my baords are Realforce and Novatouches. after I tried so many other MX boards, I couldn't find similar MX switch to match the feeling of Topre. I think you cannot get this amazing feeling of Topre from any MX switch. Period.
However, as I don't really feel the tactility of Topre, only thta funny bump when pressing it, I thought I could go for MX linear. Black was so scratchy after few hours of typing, that I stopped liking it. Then I got Gateron blacks - those made so much difference. However, I didn't like how those were wobbly. I don't know why but didn't like it, plus I always heard about Tealios being so smooth. So I finally ordered Tealios and re-soldered a board.
Now I have to say if someone wants really amazing smooth linear switch, Tealios are the way to go. I love it. I also have to say that 67g isn't a lot, my Topre 55g feel heavier than these. I think the whole smoothness of TEalios make this 67g to be so soft.
Great feeling...
Thank you guyys for your opinions and suggestions, I'm happy that now I can tell that apart from Topre, I also like MX switch - Tealios:)
