Bummed I didn't get a KF invoice, but with this many sets sold I knew the odds weren't in my favor. Congrats Neph on the 1500+ base kits sold. That is absolutely massive, especially for a non MD gb. Very impressive.

Ended up paying it ~30 hrs after receiving it. Hope that wasn't too late.

I'm curious, anyone know how many artisans were made for Metropolis or how many peopled signed up to the raffle?

looks great but paper samples for plastic colors makes me nervous

this seems like a set that's not super sensitive to color matching though so it'll likely be fine

nvm its a RAL book not a pantone book ur good

Thanks for sharing. Looking good! Agree with the others. Could do with some sat boost, but looks really good already to be fair!

This is correct. If you look through the Imgur album it tells what the comparison keys are. I included caps from some current keysets to give people more of a sense of the color

This is correct. What we ended up doing was providing a few crucial keys across all those areas so that everyone could get something they’d like :)

Red is notoriously difficult to capture faithfully, it often comes out more saturated than it really is. I'd not worry about it too much ;-)

Red is notoriously difficult to capture faithfully, it often comes out more saturated than it really is. I'd not worry about it too much ;-)

Interestingly enough, red is also one of the hardest colors to keep accurate when compressed digitally.  It doesn’t compress as well as other colors.
A good example of this difficulty can be found in early dvds - and its very obvious in them when they used red text on end credits. (There’s usually a lot of color bleeding)

Sorry for being off topic a bit, just thought I’d share that little bit of trivia.

This was an area that I went through some debate on. Had I included the yellow f5-8 keys in the base, that would have meant adding 4 additional keys to the midnight kit in order to keep coverage. Ultimately I decided that by making the whole F-row uniform in the base we could keep the cost of both kits appropriate. Hope you understand :)

Yeah that makes complete sense. I'm still super stoked for these keycaps! It's my first GMK set :)
