GMK Bentō, inspired by the Japanese culture, and the iconic/typical home-packed meal called 'Bento (弁当)'.
I thought that this 'object' would be interesting to work with since it has a relatively simple and geometrical design. That's also the spirit I wanted to have with the novelties, something clean and easily understandable but also stylized.

I wished to make something like that for a long time but I also wanted to keep it simple, that's why I will only offer a base kit which offers some novelties and spacebars kit!
However, I might consider a Kobe kit

I discussed a bit with Rama and we'll also offer one (or 2) anodised aluminium keycap(s): renders coming soon™.
I will also try to offer a deskmat with the banner design.

If by extending the base kit raises the price of the whole kit, then I would advise against it. The base kit already includes a set of novelties as of right now so I guess prices are pretty hefty already. An extra 40s/ergodox kit would make sense just for the minority few who ask for them.

No problem bud. Also the nishi legend is the catch. Removing it absolutely does not make any sense to me. Please keep it as is .

Understandable. The quality you get from GMK for the money is definately a bargain compared to something like SP SA caps. When you look at such a well designed set like Bento, a price difference of +/- $20-30 is easier to swallow for compatabilities sake. The novelties definately need to stay in the core kit to make sure they get produced. I'm no expert on what adding some blanks to the spacebar kit would do to the price, but I think it's worth it to see what the price increase would be. You'd only have to add 2 x 1u caps for each row. Usually base and spacebar kits will both hit MoQ, if the set is well received in IC. Ortho/Ergo kits will be a lot more difficult to hit.

Personally I'd rather not pay an extra $30 just because a small group of users using a niche layout want their keys accepted in a buy that's geared towards more standard keyboards.
