love the progress!

this keyboard would be coming to work with me occasionally so I can't do blue or pink.  I was hoping for something like the render.  Military/Olive Green would also work, so I hope that is an option.  Of course gray is fine but I have a few other gray keyboards so that's out (my issue, not yours of course!).  can't wait for the GB!

Is your workplace really strict about keyboard colors? That seems weird...

I take my obnoxious purple board to work all the time, and right now I'm typing on a Daisy 40% with nuclear data, and some mean green underglow...

Raindrop blue is very pretty! I have a set of JTK raindrop that I will be getting later and I'm sure they'll be a great match. Color options are looking good! I agree that the green from the M60-A was nice.

Wasn't really into anything under 60% after I tried the Mechmini 2, but the HHKB Layout split space and 4 artisan holders on this really tempt me into getting this. So I'll probably go in on this, hope it goes through

The vibrant pink is a bit polarizing for me, and I have no sets to match the blue I'd be down for silver for dsa milkshake, and if possible, I'd totally be down for a vibrant pink plate (for a bit of added flair without being overwhelming). I can understand why offering mix and match plate/case colours could cause problems for MOQ numbers. If MOQ becomes a problem for plates because people are mixing and matching then maybe offer the opportunity to buy an extra plate of a different colour and have the base kit come with a plate matching that of the case color. I hope my verbal diarrhea makes sense...

Why? It's just colours. You like one, you choose it. BTW, I messed previously so first 11 responses are faulty. It should've been 1. Purple vs. Pink, 2. Purple options, 3. Pink options, 4. Green options but it jumped over pink options all together.

Unfortunately no, white isn't really possible to do with anodization. Found this interesting and short article about why it's not doable.

I want to offer different colour options and so dark gray and black are quite similar in it's core. As 5 colours would be the max, I'd much prefer to keep "default" colours to a minimum.

Speaking of which:

I left it overnight and only got two more responses so I think we've reached max responses from people that are really interested in TMO50.

Some stats about the poll:

• 47 people responded (me included)
• 42.6% voted for Purple, only 27.7% for Pink, other 29.8% really don't care
• Purple choices: 54.5% went with "Purple Haze", 24.2% with "Founders Purple", 21.2% with "Ultra Violet"
• Pink choices: 40.7% voted for "Rose Quartz", 25.9% for "Breakfast Pink", 18.5% for "Millenial Pink" and just 14.8% for my suggested "Vibrant Pink"

You're absolutely right with your criticism! I, for one, was not trying to imply that anyone had to stick with the 5 degree case because it is the same purple. However, I did want to see a new purple color on the market, which is why I chose to vote the way I did. But that is why we have these polls right? To gain interest, and as it turns out, popular vote always ends up winning, and in this case purple haze took the win regardless of me (us) voting for a different color. At the end of the day, it shouldn't matter why people vote the way they do, that is why we have ICs, we're not here to judge someone else's interest on the this case or their color preference. In my opinion, the conjecture you do make about people needing to stick with the 5 degree case because it is the same purple is a bit of a stretch from what has been said above from my post and invidious's post. Anyways, I don't want to side track the discussion on the TMO50, so if you feel like discussing this further feel free to pm me. Btw, there's no hurt feelings or any sort of anomosity, and I hope my post doesn't come across as such

Cerakoting seems to be very popular within the gun collector community, and because I'm Canadian, I'm not an expert on it by any means. With that being said, I don't see a reason as to why you'd have to stick with a silver anodized case if you plan to cerakote in the future. They either have to strip the anodization first before they cerakote or they can just cerakote right over it. Not sure which is correct, but either way, I don't think there would be a reason to limit yourself to a silver case, unless of course, that is the anodization color you wanted in the first place.

Anyone with more cerakoting experience please feel free to chime in if I'm wrong.

Cerakoting seems to be very popular within the gun collector community, and because I'm Canadian, I'm not an expert on it by any means. My friend had a board of his cerakoted. It doesn’t mater what the color of the anodization is; it’ll get stripped off the board before the cerakote is applied. So your guess is right . Any color should be fine.

First of thank you for your opinion, no sarcasm. I'm sorry that the purple you voted for isn't the one that made the cut. I gotta say that my chosen Pantone C codes are not inspired by other boards as I don't really give a damn about purple. i just thought of a cool name for purple, google'd that ****, color-picked it from a photo, put that into a Hex to Pantone tool and then found one Pantone colour I liked. Also "Purple Haze" was the most voted for by far so I have to appreciate everyone's vote. If it was up to me (well, it is) I'd match rather do pink but that's not how polls work.

Also - who gives a damn that it's a colour of another board. It's coincidence. Now that I checked, the dark gray is EXACTLY the same that Xondat uses for his 280/220 cases. And that too is purely a coincidence. Like for real.

EDIT: Even if the Pantone C colours are the same (which I can't say is in 5 degree cases case as you all just voted for a colour I color-picked from a pot strain), there's no guarantee TMO50 ano will be finished exactly the same as those previously mentioned boards.

No hurt feelings whatsoever I share your feelings regarding pink as well, and just picked a purple color I liked which I felt wasn't already in the market. At the end of the day it wouldn't make a difference for me one way or another which purple is picked as that won't be the color I'll be choosing, I just wanted to contribute to the poll. Sorry if my post was misinterpreted, and the recounting ballets thing was, or at least I hoped, taken with a grain of salt. The majority has spoken, and I'm glad most people will be happy with the pantones chosen, and to those that aren't then I can only say that is how polls go.


Any updates on whether we will have the option to purchase plates of a different color than our chosen case color or alternatively whether an option will be available to purchase additional plates of a different color?
