I never broke anything, from toys in early age, till now. What the hell...
Things have been getting cheaper and cheaper for money reasons (en****ification) but Covid also caused material shortages and caused/allowed companies to cut corners, then the greedy owners realized they could just keep making things with cheaper parts and keep prices jacked up.
For example GPU cards PSU's are/were failing early but one industry particularly hit hard is cars. Car mechanics are now buying 3 or more parts just to get 1 that works
GM used to sell good replacement suspension parts, they now just put their sticker on a crappy Chinese knock-off and crank the price, the same part everyone paid for OEM parts to avoid. Ford and several mountain bike manufacturers were/are removing features with an asterisk in the marketing that it was/is based on part availability. So you could pay for an upgraded model only to get a lower level spec model with a sticker. You really do not want a covid era vehicle if you expect it to last.
Anything made about mid 2020 when supply lines started to get stretched to 2023 in particularly is suspect in quality but some stuff still had yet to recover and likely may never.
