Hey, thanks for your interest! I'm trying to order samples to Keyreative but they're very busy atm. I should get news this week…

Would it be possible to move the ISO enter to the modifiers kit? Since there's already a 1U backslash/pipe in the alphas, only the ISO enter is needed for ISO-US support

That makes sense! I plan to make a pretty big update on a few kits soon™ anyway :)

Any way can you do the alphas without the icons? I feel they looks like overloaded, i prefer them more clear.

Also, can keyreative do scooped homing keys? Maybe is better for KAM and more accurate for the old school feel than a little stripe on the keycap

This is a themed keycap set. The icons and 2nd 3rd and 4th labels all have specific meaning, very dear to those who are into the 80s nostalgia.

that effectively ruins the coolness of this set imo. also the whole purpose of the set. but it was shown what it would look like over at keebtalk im pretty sure.

Alright, so Keyreative is like super busy, but I should be able to order a sample of alphas+mods in November, and finally receive the 3D files for more accurate renders at the same time.
Sorry for the wait guys!

i think the wait is okay with so much going on carbon drop and soon godspeed, you set being pushed back will probably be good allow people to collect some money for it haha.

Been peeping this set from time to time recently and keeps intriguing me. I hope the samples are to your liking and that it all goes well! May want to get some myself if it's a wee bit down the line!

It might actually be better until people in the West get their KAT Alpha and DSA/KAM Starry Night R2 (did that ship already?) sets, to build some additional recognition and trust.

Apparently, they are in production atm, according to what Zfrontier told me.
I'm still pushing to be able to order a prototype for Wraith…

I know this is a hobby of patience, but at this point I feel like ZFrontier has set a bad precedent for how this order will go. This long without any traction is pretty crazy. I really want this set but I'm not sure it's worth waiting til 2021 for.

I think Keyreative have run into some manufacturing issues with KAT/KAM which has lead to the delays. It's a new profile and they're working with reverse dye-sub which has its challenges. ZFrontier posted a bit of information in their most recent updates post (https://en.zfrontier.com/blogs/project-updates/project-updates-jan-27-2019). They also posted a few early pictures of KAM Starry Nights.

211575-1

To be honest, I'm glad KAM Wraith isn't the guinea pig. So hopefully, after KAM Starry Nights is done, all the problems will be sorted out and future runs will be smoother.

There was a DSA Poseidon during the Massdrop keycap competition. Creator had a Vietnamese name.

The Norde kit is awesome. But, it should include the therthiary legends to be really useful. 7 and 0 are missing the curly brackets, 8 and 9 are missing the square brackets, the + is missing the \ and so on. Also, I did not find a proper key for the ´` acute and grave accents, the ¨~^ dead key is not properly legended, 2, 3 and 4 are missing their currency symbols. A VIM arrow set in base color will be dope, also. Just my two cents.

That's weird. KAT Alpha has crispiest legends of all keycaps I've seen. So does this mean that KAM Wraith will be changed to KAT Wraith if the supposed dye-sub issue is fixed? ;D

Also, KAM profile fits the retro esthethic better IMO ;)

:thumb: Functional-wise I'm not liking uniform dimension and shaped profiles. However, KAM like KAT is thick and smooth, its top surface is bigger than DSA and it's taller than DSA too. This could work for me. I'll probably join for a set.

PS: run a KAT gb in parallel and become twice as productive

I'll take that in consideration, but the set will still firstly run in KAM.
