Keyboards / Boba U4Ts don't work on outemu pcb

I recently got into the custom keyboard hobby and started modding a really cheap keyboard, a Redragon Lakshmi 606. I got it on sale for 20$.
I tried putting some Boba U4T's in it but they just don't seem to work when fully placed into the pcb, halfway they seem to work tho.
It's an outemu socket pcb so I had to clip both of the plastic pins. Does anyone know what's going on?

Presented via Power Point - the new ’10 Commandments’ (as he called them) which went into effect immediately:

(1) No more Black History Month
(2) No more Women’s History Month
(3) No more Hispanic History Month
(4) No more LGBTQ recognition
(5) No more talk about “Transexuals” anywhere in the military workplace as "they do not exist anymore than leprechauns exist"
(6) Female personnel will participate in “female pursuits only” for sports teams on his military installation
(7) “Female pursuits” for female sports include only badminton, bowling, tennis and golf
(8) Female military personnel will no longer be allowed to participate on installation teams for rugby, basketball, flag football and mixed martial arts. They may run track but not participate in any field events
(9) No more “holiday parties” as all events will be designated only as “Christmas parties” during the end of the year season
(10) Bible studies in the workplace "are highly encouraged though no one will be forced to attend”

I'm with Reid, was very interested in this set and was just waiting to end of month to be able to place the order. A lovely looking set and design theme, shame to see if cancelled.
I loved the inclusion of the UK ISO kit, that was a bigger selling point for me

Sad to see this - I was really looking forward to this set, seems a bit premature given a lot of people may have been waiting for the much awaited January pay-day before buying - but appreciate you and the vendors have more experience forecasting there than I do.

I would love to see this run again, if running again I'd perhaps say ditch the UK ISO kit - much that those are the only keys I use, I am more than happy to pay for a larger kit if it has the benefit or making the broader hobby more sustainable by avoiding having the international vendors buy out huge quantities of two kits they will never sell to meet MoQ, I'd prefer they buy out smaller quantities of a single larger kit.

jacobolus: The poster is a spambot. It reposts an old post to appear like a genuine human.
If the post is left up, it will be edited after a couple of days to contain commercial ads.

This has been quite a big problem on the forum these past few years while you've been away.
I try to identify and report as every post I can.

I first notice that the firsr post is from a new user, and it is a new thread, and the username is in lowercase.
Sometimes I have a hunch that I've read it before on Geekhack. Other times the post has been harvested from Reddit.
If I suspect that a post is from a spambot I can usually find the original by entering a key sentence into google search within quotation marks. (DuckDuckGo/Bing is not reliable for that)

GMK Hippo has been cancelled.

Unfortunately, the sales are exceptionally low and will not be feasible to buy out to MOQ.

Vendors will begin refunding those of you who supported and purchased the set, soon.

Maybe one day we will try again. We can only see what happens.
