People who did not understand and defend (including many of my ancestors) "the American Experiment" implicitly agreed to it by not opposing it.

I'm not sure most people knew that that was going on. They were elated from the war, and then defaulted to the same Imperialism which started that war.

Now, we're about to do it all again.. Explicitly stated and supported by BOTH presidential candidates.

Military contractors, woah, Money Money Money, I'm gonna need that for when all my kids get leukemia.

Thanks!

And since I'm sure someone will ask about the 7u bar placement, I've asked if it can at least be listed individually, so buying the whole spacebar kit isn't necessary for Tsangan coverage. I don't know if it's logistically feasible at this point, but I want to see. No promises!

I had pitched this as a monokit, and SP asked if we could use their SA Standard Black and White kitting instead. While that did mean getting to offer a full 40's mod kit, the tradeoff was that the Standard kitting puts the 7u bar into a separate spacebar kit. SP is in the process of revamping their kitting, starting with Grand Budapest R2.

Input Devices / Re: Razer Mouse macro question

You'll want one with the extra 2 buttons. Alot of mice don't have them anymore.

Something like this, will probably work. Darmoshark N3. Currently $30.

I have a rapoo vt9pro, It's $25 on sale during the holiday season. Right now it's $40.

I can confidently recommend the vt9pro, because the software UI works well. You don't need it installed to launch the macro from mouse, it can record keystroke delays too.  The problem is it's $40 right now. Holidays all the mice go on sale. You can even get the newer 8K mice for $40.

Rapoo also use a bigger battery 800mah than most other brands. Other brands use 500 and 350mah to cut weight ~10g.

Rapoo's weakness is click latency, ~2 to 3ms vs the 1ms/sub1ms on certain mice firmwares. But the only way they get there is by using a floppy debounce algo, it's not magic.

Rapoo's advantage from a mechanical standpoint is easy repair, because it uses a daughter board on the main switches. It sticks with tried and true omron.

Optical switches on some of the new mice is fancy, but they're not truly more durable, because that led can dim/malfunction/ go out.  and it's arguably more difficult to source proper replacements, because there's less standardization.

Their latest one is vt3pro max, it's got 8K. It's $60, $50 with prime,  Holiday I think it will go to $40. Prime day it was $47.

DO NOT READ Amazon Mouse Reviews, they're lying. They don't know what they're talking about. These off brands all come from the same major OEMs that build the logitech/razers.

I ended up just taking my JD40 and my GH36 into work.

Spotted an SR71-Blackbird flying above my neighborhood. I'm about 96% sure that's what it was, they are huge and they have an extremely distinctive shape that looks like no other plane on the planet. But I was under the impression they were all decommissioned. Maybe it was doing a fly over for some event going on near by? Or Lockheed is testing an unmanned flight over the area?
And just like always I got caught up in the moment and forgot to pull out my phone for a video  :blank:

Sorry, I work in the John Deere foundry, so only cast iron parts.  No sheets or rolls of steel that aren't getting shredded.

Is the case compatible with other 60% PCBs and/or daughterboards?

Long as we’re all aware about alt mod pricing given current group buy numbers: that kit is 100$+. Alt alpha alt mod kits didn’t sell super well back when group buy numbers were 5-10x where they are now.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d buy alt alphas alt mods, I bought gmk umka mods for 160$ during carbon r2, but getting 99 other people is going to be challenging. When we get 249 other people past me we might actually get it.
