I like the design. To get a big screen and save the useful keys I'd have used a 75% layout and put the screen on the right side. Here I would only get the keys and not the screen, so the added value of that keyboard is lost.

I finally didn't get employed at the place where I had had an internship, i.e. modern slavery. It didn't come as a surprise, but it still feels bad.

You are correct the HHKB Lite models are regular rubber dome KBs. A far cry from their Topre brethren IMHO.
