[IC] GMK HALLYU 한류

[Bidulomachin]

Hallyu (한류 in korean) means "The Korean Wave".

It refers to the increase in global popularity of South Korean culture since the 1990s.
With this set, I wanted to pay a tribute to Korea's pop culture through :
_ hangul sublegends
_ the bright colors on a darker background to symbolise night life and party spirit, and to represent the wave with the gradient
_ different icons : each one represents one aspect of Korea and its pop culture : korean cinema and k-drama (clapperboard icon) / food (bimbap bowl icon) / k-pop music (finger heart icon) /  korean alcoholic drink (bottle of soju icon) / korean beauty, skincare and makeup (eyelash icon).

Unless you are looking to make new molds in creating those hangul sublegends, I suggest using the legends used in gmk pulse, or better making hangul only legends. The current ones have a fair bit of problems.

No thanks in using GMK PuLSE sublegends that ignore double-consonant characters and other tertiary legends.

Can you point out and elaborate on the "fair bit of problems" in the current set of sublegends?

Interesting. "한류" seems to be the only letter based novelty, which feels a little weird. Can you come up with non-letter version?
The base color would look great with dark blues like sat75, chimera65, or prophet dark blue. Can you do a render of one of them?
I like the toned down but not boring color theme.

Consider making the following changes to the base kit:

• Add R3 PgUp (peach) and R4 PgDn (yellow) for 65%/75% users.
• Lock → Scroll, for consistency with Num.
• Code → System/Sys, or Code → Super, to avoid the visual duplication of C in Control, Code. I think Super might make the most sense, given the theme.
• Change the R4 \|₩ (yellow) key to R4 <> to avoid duplicate legends between the ISO keys.
• (less important) Make one or both of the right Alt keys Alt Gr.

Also, is it me or are the 6.25u and 7u bars in the spacebars kit redundant?

Yes I'll consider removing that one and drawing a new hallyu-related icon instead !
