Moved B Key from Spacebar kit to Base kit.
I don't think this was particularly necessary, as it's still not possible to cover all Alice setups with just the base kit due to the lack of a 2u Shift (using numpad 2u
0 looks quite bad). Keep in mind that (2.25u+1u) and (2u+1.25u) setups are about equally as common.
Although, it has to be said that not having any doubleshot keys in the spacebars kit does reduce the price by
a bit; however, from what I've seen/heard recently, it's not by much.
That being said, regardless of whether you decide to move the second
B back to the spacebars kit or not, would you please consider adding at least a 1.25u space and, ideally, a 1u space as well to the spacebars kit? This will allow multiple layouts to be covered with spacekeys, including:
- standard split 6.25u space — (2.75u+1.25u+2.25u) and (2.25u+1.25u+2.75u) configurations;
- Alice — (2u+1.25u) and (2.25u+1u) left space configurations.
On a different note, have you considered using single-line
Caps instead of
Caps↲Lock for the stepped key? It looks a bit cleaner imo, and fits in better with the rest of the single-line legends in the set.
