Hi geekhack,

Today I am here with an Interest Check for my  project: Theo60.

 This is the first time that I am sharing my personal design.I thought about what would make MY perfect keyboard? With a few ideas in

mind, below is some pictures,please let me know what do you think of this keyboard.

Mounting. :



The plate is mounted to the top case with the 'O- rubber '

Do not like "Gasket" mount, we have the 'O-rubber' Cutout,when the 'O-rubber' put  on the top & bottom of the case.  the plate will

experience a stronger or lighter clamping force.When you type through the plate will get fedback from bottom due to the 'O

-rubber get press

• Is there a gap between the bottom of the keyboard and the table?
• Is it a custom PCB? Or does it use generic 60% PCB like DZ60?
• The IC form mentions underglow. Where will the underglow be located?

• Is it a custom PCB? Or does it use generic 60% PCB like DZ60?
• The IC form mentions underglow. Where will the underglow be located?

3case two sides will have underglow

I really like this. I'm a big 60% fan and brutal60 owner (fairly similar design). A few comments:

• I am not a fan of universal plates, imo best option would be to release plate files and then have a few options in terms of plates that will suit most people eg standard ANSI, tsangan ANSI and tsangan ISO ?
• I like that the outer most plate tabs are nearer the ends, on the brutal60 they are more central and with more flexible plate materials like POM it flexes very inconsistently
• I also really like the half backspace, its something different but wont require kits to have special keys to support this board

Expanding on my plate point: even if you go 1 or 2 materials for the plate to simplify your options, but with a fixed layout it'll make a much more premium board.
