[IC] Snake60 - Fossil Edition
« on: Thu, 04 September 2025, 02:49:30 »
Hi everyone, this is Kent from Toro Studio. Today, I would love to show you our latest project, the Snake60 Fossil Edition.
It is a collaboration effort between Toro Studio and un*defined Studio.

About Snake60 - Fossil edition

Introducing Fossil.
Inspired by a snake trapped in amber, Fossil feels discovered, not made. Snake is reimagined as a skeleton trapped in a brown patina brass weight, giving the feeling of earth and soil. The skeleton is encased in amber PEI (Ultem), preserved like a fossil.

Why did we make Fossil?
Because of you. Snake's story was never ours alone. Fossil is a thank you to the many friends, family, and members of this community who have embraced and shaped Snake. Write the next chapter with us. Fossil is a story written together.

It is actually the first time we work with this material (as well as the manufacturer) so we did not really know what to expect during the render phase.

These were the sources we referred to for our render:

It is also worth mentioning that the amber colour of PEI will vary based on the thickness of the object. As you can see in the photo, some areas are more amber than others because they were thicker.
