I've been away for a bit due to a move and haven't had internets.  Anyone what the latest is on the Leupold Keyboards from EK?  Still looking at end of March?

According to their site, they're shipping orders at the end of March. Planning to pre-order one myself today. Also, I've heard rumors of them making Leopolds with Cherry MX Reds, I just sent an e-mail to their service department to find out if that was true. I sure hope it is!

NeverDie from what it sounds like from EK is that later orders may not get shipped until the second batch, which will be ~8 weeks from the end of the month. Most of us pre-ordered way back on the 7th when the boards went up for preorder.

Hmm, well I hope that they would cut off supplies for pre-order instead of letting me purchase one and then tell me that all of the leet preemptive cats over at geekhack cleaned house around the 7th of this month.  I'd just suck up the difference  and get a filco.  Just no beer or pizza or beer & pizza for a few weeks to justify :)

EK said something about emailing you if your pre-order ended up not making first batch.  I assume nobody has gotten one of those because we haven't seen it in ALL CAPS as a thread.  Few more days till their shipment time frame is up, anyone want to bet on which day it is?  11:59 pm PST on the 31st for the announcement.  Pandas subsequently die from lack of panda patience.

The best news is that my Filco tenkeyless Otaku from EK will be here on Friday, MLG Starcraft 2 over the weekend, and Leopold around Monday.

I ordered a tenkeyless with browns, but asked them to switch literally at the last minute to blues, so I don't know what's being shipped. I told them it doesn't matter though, if I missed it and they shipped browns, I'm fine with that...just kept debating between the two.  Been using browns for like 3 weeks and I kind of miss the blues a bit.

Edit: Err yeah, I meant to say I got a shipping notice too. :)

Browns here as well. I ordered within one hour of the form going online. Sometimes it's great to live in the LA area :). I'll see if I can post first impressions tomorrow (unless someone beats me to it).

Most likely they are de-palletizing one type at a time.  Setting aside any for orders that have multiple types and happened to hit the browns first.  Have a little patience, it takes time to ship a massive quantity of small boxes.

Ordered the Blues yesterday (3/29), and got a confirmation email from EK that the item is 'backordered'.  I'm guessing everybody received that email from them for the pre-order, though.

Or, thanks to the glory that is GeekHack, y'all bought out EK's first shipment that is now in the mail, and those of us that just ordered will be on the next one.
