Wow.  I know; "Captain Obvious to the rescue", but Filco tkl cherry reds resale value just got hammered in the ass. Hard.

Probably not.  People still seem to prefer Filco to Leopold, especially in terms of stabilizers.  That, and the Filco was a special edition, IIRC, and that will always keep the resale value high.

Same here.  But on the upside I have been enjoying it for a while now, so I'm not bitter.  (and I think I prefer the Costar stabilizers to Cherry anyway.)
Filco Majestouch-2 with Cherry Corp. doubleshot keys - Leopold Tenkeyless Tactile Force with Wyse doubleshots - Silicon Graphics 9500900 - WASD V1 - IBM Model M 52G9658 - Noppoo Choc Pro with Cherry lasered PBT keycaps - Wyse 900866-01 - Cherry G80-8200LPBUS/07 - Dell AT101W - several Cherry G81s (future doubleshot donors) (order of current preference) (dang I have too many keyboards, I really only need two)

I think I am more excited for a TKL version of the Leopold Reds than a board of clears; I guess that's the 45g fan in me.
I like my Browns more than my Blues.

Damn...May have to pull the trigger on the Clears just to round out my collection.  I sold my Deck because the clears are too heavy for me to use as a daily driver, but the Leo will probably be cheap enough to keep around for occasional use.

Clears are heavier browns with a blue click? That is what the wiki looks like to me at least.

As far as I know, Clears are heavier Browns. And Whites are the ones with the click like Blues. I think the Leopolds would be an okay clear board, but I would love to have a Filco one myself. Note to Filco: Please release tenkeyless ninja with clear switches. On the other hand, for the time being, that is a very nice deal that Leopolds plan to release them so soon.

I asked EK if they would do a full size clear and unfortunately these are extremely limited switches.

If they're so rare, then how is Deck able to sell full-size keyboards with them, and why are they prominently shown on the Cherry product page along with Blues and Browns, whereas the Reds are not?

Just curious....

I have to ask why? I love my filco and all but I've never had a problem with cherry corp stabilizers. Then again I've never used a Leopold.

I'm getting pretty excited about this, the last thing I need is a new keyboard... but... I mean if a keyboard is anywhere near exclusive... I might look into it if you see what I mean.

(I mean refreshing elitekeyboard constantly untill the preorder form finaly appears, then purchasing it on sight :P)

Ugh now gotta decide if I like my reds over my browns, since otaku tenkeyless looks so much cooler than fullsize (and I got used to not using the numpad).

Oh and I have zero interest in clears, but it'll be nice to have people stop asking about them.

No!! wait for ergo-clear - my ergo-clear : ) I'll be putting one up for sale soon.

I think I want to try Leopold tenkeyless clear too. I tried a Deck Frost but returned it because the springs were too stiff. My Filco tenkeyless ergo-clear is coming in today. Hopefully it will be awesome.

Ahhh the wait is killing me and I have to check every so often while working. As for this whole clears in white boards. Couldn't one just purchase a white board with browns since they are now offering it. Then justtake the clear board and put it in the white case and you could even take the brown springs and make ergoclears no?
