I'm so close to sending payment but I can't decide between reds or browns. I currently just got into the mechanical keyboard scene and have a CM Storm Quickfire with blues and I absolutely love it. However, I tried my friend's 6v2 with Blacks and hated it. Can anyone chime in on what I should get or should I just get reds, try them out, and then maybe trade with someone with browns if I don't like it?

I just sent payment for another one. I included the transaction number of my first one if that helps. They are going to the same address. No LED color changes. Green is fine for both.

I plan on ordering tonight, however I'm still new to group buys and haven't used paypal much. Do I send the money under Purchase-->Goods, or Personal-->Payment owed? Also the $35 White cap set means I still get a black cap set with the keyboard right? I know iMav tried to explain it, but with the pricing on the front page I didn't understand why someone would buy the white caps alone for $45 w/o the keyboard if the caps are only good for this board. Sorry if i come across as noobish =X

The caps alone would be for someone who already has a RACE and wants the white caps. Ordering a set of white caps with a keyboard means you get a keyboard with black caps and a set of white caps with it.

When doing a personal transfer through Paypal, it doesn't let me enter a description for the transfer. So I simply entered a message that you should have received via email.

I talked to Vortex asking if they have red LEDs available and they said yes, along with yellow and purple + the 3 iMav listed. Really wanting to buy a red one and am wondering why it's not listed

Vortex has confirmed with me that those additional colors are not available to us at this time.

But Green will look great. I'm on the fence about getting a spare along with a set of white keycaps....

As far as MX goes: I find that Browns and Reds are nearly identical. I have to type very slowly to feel the ostensible "tactile" bump of the browns. I'm a firm Blue clicky-clacky fan!

As far as I know, most of the commercial implementations of NKRO over USB have serious issues with BIOS compatibility, and some won't work at all with specific OS's. 6kro is much safer and almost as useful.

Now if it supports those passive PS2 adapters, and is only 6kro over PS2, then I'd be a little upset, but it still wouldn't prevent me from buying.

Does anyone know if/when a Red LED version would be available to Americans? Honestly I would strongly prefer that backlight color over any other and had I known they were even made in that color initially, I would have waited and not ordered a green backlit one at all. I was under the impression that there were no red LED backlit tenkeyless mechanical keyboards of any type on the market, so I settled for green. If Red LED ones are coming at some point, I would love the option to back out of this group buy and wait for that one, is that even a possibility? Thanks!

I thought only the noppoo pro had back-lighting. You can get TG3/DECK's in red, though.

As a noppoo reseller I can assure you that there is backlight version for the Mini. Red backlight.

As far as I know, they mainly come in black, but I do believe I saw some with clears on eBay once (there was a "GB" a while back) no browns, though. I guess Deck doesn't do browns. Check TG3's 'site (they own the "deck" brand) where they have the red-backlit BL82

That said, I think I'd prefer a noppoo or race for the switches. I'm not a huge fan of black. Although it should be pretty easy to rearrange the TG3's keycaps to Dvorak, since they are apparently the same profile.
